  1. Micko Murphy Blarecastlee aged about 55 tells that there was a man from Ennis who had a hump' on his back and as he was passing a fort in Miss Culligans land Ballaghafadda he heard singing. He kept lisening to the song and sang the chorus with them. He sang so well that the fairies took the hump off his back.
    When he told of his cure to the people another hunchback went to be cured also.
