  2. When a cat has his back turned to the fire that is a sign of bad weather. The rocks shine before a heavy shower. When you see a fog on the top of a hill that is a forecast of wet weather. A dark colour on the sky is another signal of rain. When the cows go in the shelter by the wall that is another sign of rain.
