  1. Nailers :- People who make nails are called nailers. They use a hammer, file, fire and anvil.
    Basket Making:- First they have to cut a thick scollop for the mouth of the basket, then put a row of thinner ones around to the bottom and then plait more scollops under and overhead every second one.
    Coopering:- Coopers make barrels and ferkins. Since the creamerys were introduced the coopering trade faded away. The tools used as hammer, saw, pincers, adze[?], plane, chisel, drawknife, graymare.
    Soldering:- Solderer is a person who mends tin or galvanized articles. He uses a solder and blowlamp.
    Thatching:- People who thatch are called thatchers. The things used are:- Straw, scollops. rake, bow and knife. The scollops are cut about two ft long and a point put on each end. Wheaten straw is the best to use.
