- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The crowfoot is a weed which grows in the garden. It has a small yellow flower.
The sparment grows in the garden. It has a strong smell and a little purple flower. It grows on any kind of ground. It always grows in a little bunch, but it is a very rare flower.
The garlic is a weed that you do not see very often. It mostly grows on damp land, and is supposed to cure rheumatism.
Rushes grow mostly on bad land. It always grows in a bunch, but the farmer does not like it so he cuts it down. - We have various kinds of weeds growing on our farm the thistle, buacaillán, chicken weed, dandelion, dock, nettle, foxglove, St Bridgets Weed, Lambs Quarter and fourain.
The thistle is a very harmful weed. There is a little rhyme about it.
