- One of the games we play at the fireside is Chip, Chop, Cherry,
You first draw a circle like this and mark numbers all around it.The first player begins at the figure one 1 and says this rhyme as as he goes around the circle.
Chip, Chop, Cherry,
All the men in Londonderry
Couldn't climb up the walls
Of Chip, Chop, Cherry,
Whichever player the figure stops at, he crosses it out and writes it down in some other part of the paper Then the next player takes his turn, and you keep on till all the numbers are crossed out. Then the players add up their numbers and whoever has the highest is the winner.
Any number can play it.Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
