  1. Tradition tells us that the moath which is situated adjacent to Cullen village is concave.
    It is believed that in the centre of the moat there is an iron door.
    The moat is a Norman one and was built during the Norman invasion by an old king who dwelt in a castle in the moat field.
    It is said he concealed all his treasures in it and that they are there up to the present day.
