  1. There is a field in Balykisteen Stud Farm called the hill in which there is a stone shaped like a coffin. In length it is six feet and three feet wide.
    There is something very strange about the shape of this stone. It is believed that one of the kings of the Danes is buried there and his gold and treasures with him. It is also believed that he was killed at the cross of Faugheen in a battle between the Danes and Normans which was fought through Ballykisteen down by Sulcoit creamery.
