There is an old graveyard in Donohill. The ruins of an old Church are to be seen in the centre of it. It is believed that a party of monks occupied this Church at the time of the Norman Invasion. In the centre of Toem graveyard is a round tower about a hundred feet high. In Augacrewe graveyard are the ruins of an early Christian Church. It is now closed as a burying ground. In Golden graveyard are the remains of an old Abbey. William de Burgh and his son Walter are buried there.
