- My Townland
I live in the townland of Cappagh in the Parish of Kilmoyler in the Barony of Clanwilliam.
There are thirty one houses, one hundred and thirty seven people and seven hundred and thirty six acres in Cappagh.
There were one hundred and thirty houses in it before the famine but the people left and went to America and numbers died of hunger so the houses were knocked.
The sites of the houses are not to be seen because all the places are covered over with wood but from time to time this was cut and used for firewood.
The people used to live on potatoes and milk and they used to make their own flour.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
