  1. There were originally four brothers. Ther father and two sons were drowned - where, my in-formant did not know.
    The two surviving sons, Trevor Llloyd, and Henry Ashe lived in Booleen in the residence presently (1938) occupied by Mrs. Dabiel Quirke. This house was built by Moore of Ashgrove House, now the residence of Mr. James Bynes.
    Henry Ashe was unmarried and Trevor Lloyd Ashe was preparing for Holy Orders, but having reached the Deaconate, retired, som say owing to an accident to his knee. Another reason put forward for his retirement was that he was asked by the ecclesiastical Authorities to give up his property before taking Holy Orders, which he refused to do and consequently retired.
