    Stellion is a cavity under the window sill which has a projecting board. Bucket of water are left there and the projecting board acts as a cover to the buckets. There are only about 2 of these in the parish now.
    Linney. Some people have a little porch over the door for storing things and sometimes it is large enough to hold bed. This is what is called a Linney.
    Dressers are now getting scarce too. Dressers have three shelves with rows of plates on each shelf. In some of the houses ther are still some of the old willow pattern plates - some of them over 100 years old. Underneath these dressers there were Coops. It used to be a favourite place for hatching chickens and turkeys. There are very few coops now in any place.
    Seattle was a kind of Wooden Bed, made into the wall. It was used for holding flour and meal in the Day Time and turned into a bed at night. Not to be seen now.They have Bins instead.
