There are eighteen families in the townland with approximately sixty people.

There is only one person, Mrs Johanna Ryan, over seventy years. She does not speak Irish and cannot tell stories in English.
Fifty years ago there were thirty families in the townland with an approximate population of one hundred and fifty people.
Within that period all the members of five families emigrated to America taking with them their parents.
