Ar an leathanach seo

Long ago when the Danes lived in this country they could make a rich beer from heather or heath.
When they were defeated
and had to leave the country only two remained who had the secret. They were father and son. Now, the Irish approached those and endeavoured to get them to explain how it was made. This they refused to do. They were then imprisoned and threatened with death if they did not disclose the methods employed to make the liquor.
After a long time the father said,
'Well if you put my son to death I shall reveal the secret.'
