    Cure for St.Anthony's Fire:
    Boil down chicken-weed and rub it to the sores, it will cure them.
    Chilblains:
    Heat an onion in the oven and then rub it to the chilblains.
    Haycoughs:
    If one had the haycoughs let him drink out of the wrong side of the cup.

  2. Cure for Kidney Trouble:
    Boil switch grass and drink the water that it boiled in.
    Warts:
    Wash them in the water that the black smith cools his irons in.
    To cure a Whitlow:
    Put a poultice of oaten meal, half boiled to it.
    To cure Boils:
    Mix sugar and soap together
