- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)were facing from three directions to the end of the South Wall. Greatly excited she called her eldest son, a boy of sixteen and showed him the map. They decided to wait until dark and then go and search the Castle. When the workmen had supper over and gone to their homes, Mrs. Ryan said the Rosary and put the younger members of the family to bed. Then she and her son set out with a lantern pick and spade. The boy used the pick to loose some stones and three large square stones slipped out and behind a stout iorn box rested.
