   The wren builds his in a wall. He makes his nest of moss, and mud, and feathers. The wren makes the door in the side of his nest because the rain cant come in then. The woodcock builds his nest of heather and sticks. The swallow builds his nest under the eaves of houses. He makes his nest of mud, and sticks, and feathers. It is said to see a swallow flying low is a sign of rain. To see one magpie or to see the seagulls flying inland. The swallow, the cuckoo and the corn crake go away to other countries, because the weather would be getting cold.
