  1. A crow's board was used for making barrels and chains for cutting the chine at the bottom of the vessel. There is no specimen to be had but this is something like what the Cooper’s son described.

    Dipped rushes were used lightning the houses.
    Kitty Sheedy was a great spinner and weaver. She used to go around the ditches, gathering pieces of wool.
