    Mrs Ryan, Coolataggle, Borrisoleigh, told me the following story a mont ago. It is said that there was money found at the back of the old castle in a field, belonging to the Loughnanes of Greenlawn. The people who were then living in Loughnane's house found it.
    They were tumbling a wall and they brought it into the house.
    Every night after that loud knocks came to the door. When they went to the door they could see no one outside.
    After a while they came to the conclusion to leave it back and they did so. Then the knocking ceased.
