One night as Edward Ryan was coming home from Tipperary town he saw a black dog at Taylor’ cross. He called for(?) the dog which he thought was his own.
When the dog came over to him he was about to rub the dog’s back when the dog leaped away. The man had a rope with him and he tied the dog with it. When he pulled the rope it went through the dog and he disappeared.
