  1. The fields about this place get their names from the people who owned them in olden times. Cashins belonged to people of that name, and Holmes park belonged to people named Holmes. The school paddock is so called because there was a school in the old house opposite and that field was used as a playground. The Kill field because there is a lime Kill in it. Years ago the Kilboy people kept deer in the deer park.
