    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    Some of the old people tell of a great storm which occurred in 1903. The storm began at nightfall, and continued far into the night. The people that were out in their neighbours houses would not go home. Several trees were knocked, roofs (were) of houses were swept away, even out-huses were taken off and never seen again.
    In or about the year 1901 there was a terrible thunder-story, it (up-rooted) uprooted many trees, and many (trees) horses were killed be lightning in the Kilboy Demesne.
