    The wren the wren the king of all birds,

    Wren songs
    "The wren the wren the King of all birds,
    St Stephens Day he was caught in the firs.
    Although he was little his family was great
    Up with the landlady and give us a treat
    If you fill it with the small, it wont agree with our boys atall
    But if you fill it with the best, I hope in Heaven your soul will rest."
    "This little wren was so knough and cunning
    He stuck in the bushes and we stopped running
    We ran three miles and more
    Our shoes and stockings were torn
    So up with the kettle and down with the pan
    And give us our answer and let us be gone."
