  1. About one mile to the east of Tory Hill and two and a half miles due south of this school lies Manistir Aenagh.
    It's ancient name was Aenagh beag. To distinguish it from Aonach Úrmumhan-it was changed to Manistir Aenagh.
    Turlogh Ó Brien established a monastery there in the year 1,148 in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
    Its site covered two acres and judging by its ruins it must have been a substantial building.
    In olden times, sports and fairs were held at Manistir which represent the Olympic games in London, and the Tailltean games which took place in the Co. Meath
