    We have nature at the door with us, and if we study the movements of the animals and birds we can foretell the weather.
    It has been practised since the earliest ages and therefore it is quite natural for them to foretell the coming weather as good as any almanac.
    The crows somer-sault in the air, and seem to alight as if they scented the on-coming snow-storm.
    The swallows skim the earth's surface and the curlews come inland.
