Ar an leathanach seo
- 1) The old people believed that if swallows fly low over the land it is a sign of rain
2) When sea-gulls fly in-land it is a sign of rain
3) If the fowl start picking themselves it is a sign of rain
4) If the crows begin flying like a kite it is a sign of rain
5) When the walls of the house gets wet and the water runs off them it is a sign of wet stormy weather
6) The "saiguaiher" or fairy wind is said to be a sign of fine weather
7) Pheasents can hear the approach of a thunderstorm before any human ear can hear it
8) Before rain or any bad weather, plovers make a noise like the bleat of a lamb.
