When playing hide-and-go-seed the more persons the better.
A rhyme is said and this is one I say:-
"Hide and go seek,
All the week,
Sheep's head on Sunday
A half-a-crown on Saturday night
And not a halfpenny on Monday"

The rhyme is said until the second last person is out. The last person hides, and the others go off ahide. When they are ahide, they say "cuck", and the boy follows them. The person off stop in their hiding places until they see the boy coming. Then they run out of their hiding places, and the boy that is following them, runs after them and tries to catch one of them. If he catches one of the boys the boy that is caught hides
