THE GHOST OF THE BASKET MAKER
Long ago there lived a man in Dromsally, in the parish of Cappamore, Barony of Owney Beg in the Co. Limerick who used to get up at five o'clock and go to an old garden where he used to get sallies, and with these he spent the day making baskets.
His name was O'Brien, but the people used to call him the Gobán Saor, because he was so greedy and tight in his dealings, but he was very honest. He never wronged anyone and they say he is to be seen on the hill of Dromsally at twelve o'clock at night.
