    boggy at the left hand side of the road, and sandy on the right hand side going down the Killuragh road. It is very good soil. There was a wood in Killuragh in olden times, but it was cut down from time to time.
    It was called "The Round O(Oh).
    There are no rivers in the townland, but there are a few streams.

  2. In the townland of Dromsally the houses were more numerous about fifty years ago, than they are now.
    In times gone by three families emigrated to England, or to America. But after some years a few of them returned to Ireland and were living in Dromsally until they were evicted because they couldn't pay their rent.
    There is a great big wood in the district called "ellí John O'Malley's
