    There is a field in Kilballyowen. It is called Deer Park, because in olden times the deer used to live there. The hunters used to hunt them and sometimes kill one. Year by year they killed the deer, until all were killed except two. The two were going around Kilballyowen for two years, and the hunters did not like to kill them, on account of their being lonely in the park for so long. At last, one of the deer died, and the other went to Derk and there was never a deer seen in Kilballyowen since.
