  1. There are some days considered unlucky. e.g. no one would dream of starting any business or work of any kind & no servant would go to his or her place on Monday, and Friday if the day to start if you mean to make a success of any undertaking.

    May is supposed to be an unlucky time to get married, & so are the days Thursday & Friday.
