  1. Once upon a time a doctors wife got very ill and died.
She was buried with all her golden jewels and rings.
A poor friend of hers heard that she was buried with them all on her.
He knew he would get alot of money for them.
At that time earth was not put over the coffin - only laid in a little house to rot.
The man thought of an easy way to get the jewels.
One night he went to where she was laid and openened the door.
He caught one of her hands to take of the jewels.
He took them all off but one which was stuck in her finger.
He put her finger into his mouth to bite it off and as he did so she arose up.
The man took her home and her husband was very frightened.
Ever afterwards the woman was very thankful to him.
