  1. Biddy Early lived in Clare she was supposed to have knowledge of the future. I heard a story about a man named Denis Fenton from whom money had been stolen.
    He went to her and as he was going in he met her and she said "good day Mr Fenton"
    He inquired from he if she had any knowledge of the money but she told him he was late.
    She said the money was hidden in an old house for a couple of days but was spent.

  2. I heard my Grandfather telling a story about a priest in this locality who was called in the middle of the night to attend a sick person. He asked the messengers if they had and any means of carrying him and they said no He did not like to go but he went and as he was passing Ballydonahue Cross he got a fright lads and the messengers heard him beating
