    heard the banshee. He got up and looked out the window. He saw a neighbouring woman going down the path and he asked her where was she going at that hour of the night. She said she was going down the street to her mother's house as her brother Mike was sick.
    She asked him to go with her so he dressed himself as quickly as he could and went with her. When they were going in the door the banshee wail was heard across the river by the old castle walls.
    Two hours later Mike was dead.
