    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    The local Forge is situated in the townland of Mellon. It is built on to the dwelling house. The roof is slated the fireplace is raised two feet and contains a water trough, water being used for cooling is believed to be a cure for warts. Red hot Iron is used to stop bleeding.
    The Bellows is very large and is supported on a piece of wood. It is made of wood and leather with a heavy Iron pipe and placed at the back of the fireplace and is worked by a shaft of wood connected with a chain to the under slab, the upper being left free so as to give a continual blast.
