  1. My Home District.
The name of the townland in which I live in is Old Kildimo in the Parish of Kildimo and in the Barony of Kenry. There are about fifteen families in this townland with a population of fifty people.
All the houses are slated with the exception of two and nearly most of the houses are two storeys high.
The townland is called after St. Dioma who lived in Kildimo a couple of hundred years ago. Kildimo means the Church of Dioma.
There are not many people over seventy living there, the only old people are Mr. and Mrs. Carthy and Mr. W heltan. The land in my townland is very good and is suitable for tillage. Many people went form Kildimo to America about twenty years ago few of them ever came back again.
Peggy Ryan, Patrick Ryan, Old Kildimo. Age 50.
Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
