    It is well known by all the people in this locality that there is an under ground tunnel leading from the carcair in the townland of Ballycasey in the Parish of Kildimo in the County of Limerick to Court Castle. It starts in a ploughed garden called the Carcair garden.
    The entrance to this tunnel is not open now because it was very dangerous for horses ploughing and that was the reason it was closed. People usually went in twenty or thirty yards into this tunnel. It was not safe to go in any further because there was foul air in it.
    The length of this passage or tunnel is about one statute mile. The top of this passage is covered with flags. The passage is there since the Danes came to Ireland and
