  1. A long time ago people used to make cures out of herbs. Feocadan would cure maggots in sheep. March Mallow boiled with lard, makes ointment. Puiseach buide would cure blisters. Yellow root would cure warts. Agrimony would cure the red water in cattle. Nettles would cure pains in the bones also dandelion is good for the nerves. Ivy tea makes a good stain remover from clothes but it should be only used for dark coloured Material. Boiled moss applied to a horses' leg reduces swelling.
