13. Behind the village pump in Bruree there is a well. It is called St. Munchin's Well. Some years ago the people used to pay rounds at the well especially on the 2nd of January which was the Saints Feast day and lots of people used to be cured more especially those suffering from bad eyesight or stomach diseases.
