in the morning to take his pigs to the market he found them all dead, and the strange pig in with them. It is said that if a person puts dead meat in with pigs that the pigs will die.
About ten years ago in the parish of Knocknagoshel there was a man who had a cow going to calve, but he thought she would not calve until morning, and he went to bed.
During the night the cow calved, and the calf was lying down on the floor behind the cow. A woman came and took away the cow's clearing in a bag. When the man got up in the morning the calf was dead, and the cow never milked one pint of milk that season.
