This is the way the people made baskets long ago. First they got twelve sally rods and stuck them in the ground in a ring. These rods were about six inches apart and were called satans. Then they got sally rods and wove them in and out through the standards. When they had that done they had about a foot of the standards left in top and they crossed them. Then they got more sally rods and wove them through them and then the "pottom" was made. After that they turned it up side down and they plaitted the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
