    Prayers Learned in Childhood.
There are many beautiful prayers to be found in our Catholic prayer books; but we have also some which are handed down from mother to child in the homes. Of the latter kind are the following; which are said morning and night to the Blessed Virgin.
Through thy sacred Virginity and Immaculate Conception, oh most chaste Mother of God and Queen of Angels obtain for us purity of soul and body.
Oh Mary my mother and my hope I take refuge under thy mantles there will I live and die. Deliver me from sin and grant me thy holy blessing.
