- About a mile outside Cloyne stands the ruin of a castle, which is called Castlemary. it is about two hundred years old, and about twenty years derelict. It is in the townland of Castlemary, Barony of Imokilly, and in Cork County. It was burned by the IRA during the War of Irish Independence by British Military.
