    On St. Stephen's Day boys and girls go around from house to house collecting money and singing the wren's song. They carry a decorated holly bush with them. The money is spent in buying apples, sweets and oranges.
    On May morning people used to wash their faces with the dew and it was said that they would not get a cold for the year.
