May Day:- People used bring in pieces of May trees on May Day and decorate themselves with it.
New Year's Eve:- At 12 o'clock on that night the people of Carrigtwohill parade the village three or four times with cans and pots and tea chests singing the New Year's Song.

Little Christmas Day:- On Little Christmas night the water changes into wine. A man named John Murthy lived in Rossmore, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork heard that the water changes into wine on Little Christmas Night. So he went to a well near his own house at twelve o'clock. He stayed there for a half an hour and then he decided to go home.
