A Holy Well is situated near Glanworth and in olden times people used make Pilgrimages there.
One warm Summer season and all the wells dried up, and the people had to use this Holy Well water.
On one of her daily journeys a young girl, saw a man sitting down near the Well, who asked her for what reason they used this water, but she replied they had nothing else to drink. But the man commanded her to go home, and throw the water out in the field, she obeyed and immediately a spring of water burst up, and from that day onward it can be seen there.
