- The Monabricka Hedge School was in the house (a low thatched one) of M. Patk. Hennigan, Monabricka, Milford.
Mr. John Creagh taught in it & he also taught in another "Hedge" school which was near Dromina (Ráth Luirc). He rode a donkey from school to school.
He taught English & other subjects - all except Irish.
Mr. Creagh was about 80 years when he died i.e. about 23 years ago.
