  1. In olden times the people used to have three meals in the day, breakfast, dinner and supper. They used to be up very early in the morning and have a lot of work done before they got their breakfast which was only potatoes, salt and milk.
    For dinner they used to get potatoes, skim milk, salt and sometimes a bit of butter.
    The supper consisted of Indian meal boiled. Each person would get some of this on a plate, and a cup of sour milk to take with it. They used very seldom get bread except on a feast
