Ar an leathanach seo
- I am living in the townland of Scarragh in the Parish of Kilshannig, Barony of Duhallow, Co. Cork. There are thirteen families in the townland and about fifty people. The most common name is O Callaghan. Only three of the people are over seventy years of age and they do not know Irish.
The houses are mostly all slated, only a few are thatched. There is only one old ruin that I know of.
It is very hilly in some parts but some of it is level and fertile. There is no wood in the townland but there are plenty of furze bushes on the hilly parts of it.
There are no rivers or lakes(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
