- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)A few Protestant families have tombs in this cemetery. An ancient church in which Protestant services are held, is situated near the centre of the enclosure. Rounds are performed at the grave of Father Kelleher whose remains are buried here and it is said that many cures have been effected through his intercession. There is no well in the cemetery but there is a holy well a short distance away at the northern side and those who come to perform rounds at Fr Kelleher's grave visit the well, drink the water and take home some.
The cemeteries at Glantane and Beeing were opened in 1936 by the late Very Rev D.J. Dennehy P.P. and were consecrated in the same year by Most Rev. Dr Roche, Bishop of Cloyne. The Glantane cemetery is dedicated to Saint John, and that Beeing to Saint Gobinet.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
