  1. There have been many tales of lost treasure in caves by the sea, left there by pirates of olden ages, but nobody has ever found them at the present day to verify these tales.
    More than a century ago silver, and gold, were found in odd places around Ireland, and there are still old people in Ireland, who remember the time when the gold was found. About three miles from the town in which I live there is a field called the Silver Field in the district of Ballymacmurragh. This field is owned by my grandfather and one day a couple of years ago I asked him why he called it the "Silver Field". This is what he told me.
